This years' guests will be sharing their thoughts about the future of Monterey County and the important role that LandWatch plays as an advocate for a sustainable future.
Yes, it's been a tough year, one unlike any other. Our local economy has been hit hard. Nonprofits have also been impacted, including LandWatch. But thanks to you, our supporters, we're making it through. And we plan to be around for the long haul to address the challenges Monterey County faces, such as sustainable groundwater, sprawl, and affordable housing. We need your support for those efforts as well as for our long-term vision for sustainability: climate friendly cities that are walkable and bikeable and that offer a diverse range of affordable and workforce housing.
Our speakers include:
- Representative Jimmy Panetta
- State Senator Elect John Laird
- Assemblymember Mark Stone
- Supervisor Mary Adams
- Marina Mayor Bruce Delgado
- Monterey Mayor Clyde Roberson
- MPWMD Representative Elect Amy Anderson
- Supervisor Jane Parker
