Measure M Volunteers Needed

As you may recall, LandWatch Monterey County endorsed Measure M because it would preserve 540 beautiful acres and focuses development on existing blight on the former Fort Ord. LandWatch urges your YES vote on this ballot measure and we hope you get involved!

There are three critical ways to support Measure M:

  1. Phone Banking - every week night from 5 - 8 PM at the campaign offices (470 Tyler Street, downtown Monterey).

  2. Precinct Walking - every weekend from 10 AM - 1 PM have fun talking with likely voters and provide them with Measure M information.

  3. Donate - help fund the effort to pass Measure M by donating online at: fortordaccess.org/donate/  or http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/save-50-000-california-oak-trees.

For your reference, the Fort Ord Access Alliance Campaign Office info is:

Michael Frederiksen, Campaign Manager

Office phone: 831-372-1600

Campaign organizers find that voters eagerly support a Yes on Measure M and a No on Measure K (the competing ballot measure) when they hear the simple choice: preservation of open space or the destruction of a beautiful recreation area used by thousands. Help get out the vote by getting active today.
