Landwatch Comments on 4th Draft EIR for Proposed General Plan

LandWatch makes comments to the Monterey County Planning and Building Manager to consider all impacts on Water Supply, Traffic, Agricultural Land, Air Quality and other issues when the County writes its Environmental Impact Report on the County General Plan. The General Plan is the growth document for the next 20 years. There are broader issues that must be looked at when evaluating growth over the next 20 years. The Community General Plan initiative will only address certain issues, leaving the remainder for the County and surrounding cities to address. The County needs to take a wide ranging view on what growth will occur in locations outside of the County's jurisdiction. Read the LandWatch comment letter, click here.
